This microlot is named after the village Butawa, where many of the farmers live.
Freshly picked cherries are pulped and then undergo a gentle 40-hour submerged fermentation in cold mountain spring water. All coffee is dried on African drying beds in our solar dryers and meticulously sorted at 12 different stages before being exported.
